2025- Anniversary Event - Resilience and Family Support

Updated: Apr 10

Our Anniversary Event: Leading with Love was an incredible success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from our community! On April 5th, 2024, the Resilience and Family Support Community Fair at Silver Creek Family Church brought us together to celebrate, share, and learn. Here are some of the highlights that made this event unforgettable:

We’re excited to share that we served 133 meals during the event! Thanks to La Malquerida for providing delicious tacos and adding a tasty touch to our celebration.

Thank You to Our Community!

This event was more than just a celebration; it was a chance to strengthen our community, share knowledge, and build connections. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported the event.

The energy and spirit of our community were evident throughout the day, and we’re excited to continue this journey together. We couldn’t have done it without YOU!

Event Highlights:

  • Opening Performance: We kicked off the event with an incredible Aztec Dance performance by the Tona Mares family. They shared the principles of Aztec dance, teaching us about the cultural significance behind the dance. It was a powerful and educational experience that set the tone for the day.

  • We were honored to have Dr. Alina Urriola present a session on "Health through Prevention", where she provided valuable insights on staying healthy and preventing illnesses. We learned a lot and left feeling more empowered to take charge of our health. 🩺

  • Kids’ Activities: Families enjoyed a variety of interactive activities for kids, from arts and crafts to fun games. Everyone had a blast, and it was heartwarming to see so many children engaging and creating. 🧸🎨

  • Future Dream Unveiled: We were thrilled to showcase a model of our future dream building, where we’ll continue to provide support and services to the community. We’re excited for what’s to come! 🏢
